The designations of players and coaches for the 9th Pokhara Sports Grants have been made open. The names of 12 individuals in 4 distinctive disciplines have been made open for the Sports Grants to be organized by the Nepal Sports Writers Gathering Gandaki on the 26th.
According to which, the best male player of the year is Biswas Adhikari (volleyball), Pradeep Khadka (tennis) and Sumit Shrestha (football), educated Sports Writers Gathering Gandaki President MB Astha Magar.
The best female player of the year is Aruna Shahi (volleyball), Kripa Gurung (fencing) and Sushmita Thapa Magar (ITF Taekwondo-Muaythai). The best developing player of the year is Badal Karki (games), Jit Bahadur Sarki (volleyball), Rachana Chaudhary (cricket). The best coach of the year is Neeraj Thapa (tennis), Ramesh KC (volleyball) and Rajendra Tamang (football).
The organizers have expressed that the best female and male players of the year will get an electrical bike along with a trophy at the Pokhara Sports Grants, whereas the rising player coaches will get a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 35,000 each.
The gathering will too honor the Lifetime Accomplishment Grant, the Best Sports Organization or Club of the Year, and the Best Sports Writer of the Year on the same day, educated Chairman Magar. Agreeing to him, the beneficiaries of the Lifetime Accomplishment Grant will be honored with a silver scepter, trophy, copper leaf, and dosalla. The sports organizations or clubs and writers will be given a cash prize of Rs 35,000 each and a trophy.
